Returning for what must be around our 13th year Tash and I had another great weekend at Wimborne Minster Folk Festival.  At first we thought it might be a complete wash out.  However,  the great British public proved they are not put of with a bit of rain and after a few extreme rain showers in the morning Saturday brightened up but stayed gusty.  Although trade was a bit sporadic to start the atmosphere was still there with many getting involved in the festival spirit with glitter and face paint along with the ever popular hair braids and feathers.

Sunday was much busier than usual for us. However, the weather was also on our side.  The wind had dropped and the sun had come out to play drawing out all the regulars who normally pop by and see us Saturday.  By the end of the day Tash and I were pooped!  Before packing up I needed to just sit so I headed to the library just behind me where the knitting club were making some awesome knitted bunting.  Once sat I picked up the needles and did a few rows to help out.  Thinking of my wonderful nanna Doreen Rutter who taught me how to knit sooo many years ago.  It's like riding a bike, you never forget :)  My nanna's blind now so won't ever read this but I know she'd be super chuffed <3

The most popular items this year were the removable hair braids and super hero face paints.  Here's a few of the many we managed to snap.

Thank you to everyone who came to see us.  Until next year stay happy, healthy and smiley.

Many thanks

Tash and Cher XX
