The weather turned out great for Plymouth Hope Festival. It was the official launch of national Refugee Week, celebrating the Great Get Together and Hope's 10 Year anniversary.
It didn't take long for a queue to start forming as I was whizzing through unicorn after unicorn with an odd butterfly or random request slipping in. Pudsey bear made an appearance for the children. There were bouncy castles, drumming, making, arts and crafts, painting, henna the list goes on, all free for everybody. I didn't have time for a break, I had found my rhythm. I don't know where the time went, but there were many many smiles and Liza Barry (who hired me) was as welcoming as ever. An amazing lady. Thank you for having me.
