With more and more corporate and adult booking coming in, the Funky Punky team got a rare opportunity to meet in one place.  I arranged a workshop by the amazing artist Karen Huwen from Grown Up Glitz.   Karen is super skilled in adult face painting designs.  The perfect candidate to help promote the 'Adults Love Glitter To!" side of the business.  It is also just in time for our Christmas bookings, which focus more on contemporary style festival face painting.

I booked the upstairs of my local The Queens Arms in Tamerton Foliot.  Tash met me at my house and we both travelled to the Queens  to find Karen Huwen and Kaylie already waiting.  Not long after the lovely Judy and Sophia arrived.  The Queens Arms landlady Amanda was the best hostess.  OMG, the lunch she provided was divine!  Possibly the best cottage pie I have ever tasted!  I digress...

We set our work stations up and with teas and coffees in hand we were ready to start the day.  Karen was great!  She went through various male and female designs explaining placement and flow.  Here are a few of the final results from a wonderful day full of glitter, paint and smiles!
