On arrival at the Woolwell Centre the party table in main hall had already been set up with 29 seats. A beautiful 6th Birthday balloon centre piece was on display and the kids were already having fun chasing each other around. Not long later the bounce hire guy arrived to set up the disco bouncy castle.
I soon had a queue of excited children wanting a face paint. With a quick dash along the line I had painted numbers on their hands and off the zoomed to play leaving me to get on with the important job of quickly painting everyone.
Without a doubt the most popular request today was for unicorns. I also has sharks, dinosaurs, cats and butterflies. I even got to paint a few of the "Adults love glitter to..." festival faces which is always a pleasure!
Right at the end of the party once most of the guests had left I had a young lad request a lion. It was his first face paint. Normally he didn't like or want anything near his face. Seeing how happy he was after is one of the reasons I love my job so much!
