What a magical, sun-soaked day it’s been aboard the pirate-themed ships of Plymouth Boat Parties! The seas were calm, the skies were blue, and the face paint flowed freely as Kaylie Funky Punky and Sophia Funky Punky set sail for another unforgettable day of pirate face painting fun.

The duo kicked off the morning with a well-earned iced coffee and a quick catch-up before hopping aboard the wonderfully decorated pirate ship. The vessel, bursting with balloons and all things piratey, was the perfect setting for a high-seas adventure. Spirits were high, the crew was full of energy, and Kaylie and Sophia were ready with brushes in hand and glitter at the ready!

The weather in Plymouth didn’t disappoint, making the gentle waves a dream for a steady painting hand. No paintbrush slips today! The Funky Punky pair quickly got to work as their little mateys arrived in full pirate spirit. From toddlers to grandparents, the face painting queue never stopped.

Requests came in fast – classic pirate face paint designs like skulls, crossbones, pirate hats, and eye patches were a big hit. But the creativity didn’t stop there. We had pirate unicorns, sea serpents, mermaids, and even Blue from the animated film The Sea Beast making an appearance. One child even asked for a pirate cheetah – now that was a first! It turned out to be such a hit that Mum and sister joined in, making it a full pirate cheetah family trio. Now that’s the kind of family bonding we love to see!

Cher’s Funky Faces loves working with Plymouth Boat Parties – it’s always such a joyful, welcoming atmosphere, and we are incredibly grateful to be invited back again and again. A huge thank you to the amazing crew for being so accommodating and helping make every event so smooth and fun.

What truly makes these events so special is the community. Watching families, friends, and children come together, laugh, and dive into a world of pirate fantasy is what it’s all about. Kaylie and Sophia adore working together, especially when the vibe is this good and the creativity is flowing.

And it doesn’t end here! We’ll be back on board tomorrow, ready for another day of pirate adventures and face-painting delights. Meanwhile, our wonderful Cher has been stationed at the incredible Royal William Yard, spreading her brand of piratey fun across the land. We can’t wait to hear all about her adventures, too!

So, until tomorrow – it’s an AHOY from all of us at Cher’s Funky Faces. Thank you again, Plymouth Boat Parties, for another incredible day on the water. Whether it’s a children’s party, a family day out, or a pirate-themed celebration, we’re always ready to bring the magic with our creative face painting skills.

Stay funky, stay fabulous – and never forget, there’s always a bit of pirate magic in every brush stroke!
