This Easter holiday, Funky Punky Andrea from Cher’s Funky Faces had the absolute pleasure of joining the festive fun at Tre, Pol and Pen in beautiful Cornwall, and what an amazing day it was! The sun shone brightly, setting the perfect scene for a day full of laughter, colour, and creativity. We couldn’t have asked for better weather to celebrate the holiday.
The day began with a delicious breakfast that set Andrea up for all the face painting fun ahead. With her brushes at the ready and a heart full of excitement, she dove straight into creating magical designs for all the wonderful children (and even a few adults!) who came to join in the Easter celebrations.
It didn’t take long for some clear favourites to emerge – Minecraft characters and gorgeous butterflies were the top requests of the day! Bright greens, pixelated designs, and sparkling wings brought huge smiles to the faces of everyone who sat in Andrea’s chair. It’s always so much fun to see which designs capture the imagination of the day, and the mix of gaming and nature themes this time around was just fantastic.
One of the most heartwarming parts of the event for Andrea Funky Punky was meeting some first-timers who had never had their face painted before. It was such a joy for her to be the one to introduce them to the magical world of face painting! Their wide-eyed wonder as they saw their transformations in the mirror was simply priceless. Andrea made sure each experience was special, and it was clear from their beaming faces that they loved every moment.
Cher’s Funky Faces felt incredibly welcomed and well looked after by the wonderful team at Tre, Pol and Pen. From the warm greetings to the excellent organisation, everything about the event made it a real pleasure to be part of. It's always a treat to work with venues that show so much care and enthusiasm for creating a fantastic experience for their visitors.
We genuinely cannot wait to return for more fun-filled events at Tre, Pol and Pen! Easter 2025 has certainly set a high bar, and we’re already excited thinking about what magical faces we’ll get to paint next time.
