Our first event of Feb saw Cher Funky Punky at the amazing InCider Festival run by the Fuelled by Cider company. This is a superb get together of bigger kids AKA adults appreciating good music at Pontins in Weston Super Mare whilst appreciating some of the best ciders the West Country delivers!
This same weekend Judy Funky Punky created lots of face painting and glitter tattoo smiles at wonderful birthday party at The Millpool Centre in Looe, Cornwall and the UPSU for Eng v Scot 6 Nations rugby.
The following weekend started with another birthday party at the Plymstock Community Centre. All 20 children left with their face painted and a glitter tattoo by Cher Funky Punky. Birthday girl had the ever popular Elsa Ice Queen. Cher was then straight to The Staddy for a beautiful Christening. Even the staff got involved with festival glitter and face paints, such fun!
Kaylie Funky Punky was at the UPSU for the 6 Nations Rugby building the atmosphere at the England v Italy game!
During the week Kaylie and Cher Funky Punky had the pleasure of face painting at The Box museum for their superb interactive Valentines Family Party. The children were decorating cookies and other arts and crafts whilst we created smiles.
Mid month saw Cher and Sophia at The Watermark in Ivybridge painting lots of Ukraine flag coloured designs for Homes for Ukraine. A organised by West Devon Borough and South Hams District Councils. Once again Kaylie Funky was on her walk abouts at the UPSU for the 6 Nations Eng v Wales match.
Cher Funky Punky joined in with the fund raising for Jayden at The Queens, Tamerton Foliot. Jayden was meant to be there but instead ended up back in hospital.
Sunday was all about Kids Carnival celebrations at The Greek Orthodox Church. Such amazing hospitality and wonderful group of people. There were amazing outfits including a super duper hippy girl, cute kitty cats, spidermen, unicorns of course! I especially loved wonder woman!
There were some new design requests for Cher Funky Punky at The Woolwell Centre from the birthday party kids for Orange, Purple, Green ermmm yeah. These, it all turns out are from a computer game. Cher was happy with the on the spot first attempts!
The month of February finished with the super talented Helen Funky Punky creating some beautiful face painting designs at the Kingsbridge Leisure Centre. Such a great party with leopards, wolves in pink of course but the star of the show were the ever popular unicorns! Once again the adults got involved which always makes for such a great birthday party!
