On first weekend of March I returned to one of my regular customers Devcon. Booked by the lovely Leah who creates these great days out I painted a few of the face painty favourite butterflies and unicorns. I also had a great time getting one of the crew painted with a big birthday cupcake on his fore head. He had managed to keep it quiet all day. However, his GF let on just before closing. This meant I had time to ensure his meal later everyone would know (as long as he didn't wash it off)
The following weekend I was at a birthday party. Unfortunately I couldn't take any photo it was soo busy! This was one of my return customers Lyndsey. Her and her family gave me a wonderful tip and some super scrummy chocolates. Whilst I was here Kaylie Funky Punky was at Plymouth Uni tagging all the rugby team colours for the six nations!
Next up Nicola Funky Punky and I spent the whole weekend at The National Marine Aquarium for part of The Plymouth Sound National Marine Park's ongoing promotions showcasing all we have on offer in our amazing seas and local area. This, as you can imagine was mainly sea themed with lots of turtles, sea horses and mermaids being requested along with the odd scary shark or two! As soon as this event was over I went on holiday leaving the amazing Kaylie holding the fort.
Kaylie was super-human painting soo many faces at the next birthday party. The host even messaged to say thank you as so many more people turned up than the 30 already expected!
All these events were fantastic with many customers now becoming more familiar friends having had so many face paints throughout the years on them and their families.
Thank you to everyone for choosing Cher's Funky Faces!
Until next time....
