Tash and I created lots of Hair Braiding and face painting smiles over the weekend with the odd glitter beard given to security just because. It's great when the official dudes get involved. Just seems to make the atmosphere more chilled. I noticed not many people got dressed up with wacky hats and wicked outfits this year. It also seemed a lot quieter! It might just be because we had Jelvis busking in front of us all day which meant potential customers couldn't hear us easily or maybe because we were in a slightly different pitch. Some of the locals reckon it was due to lack of advertising, others people still worried about Covid... who knows? Either way Tash and I had fun on the Saturday.
