Well what can we say! Wow! The atmosphere was incredible. The kids kept us smiling all day. One minute we were chatting with the odd face paint here and there. Then BOOM! the parade had arrived. Had so much fun working with Cher and Kayleigh. Blue skies and hundreds of people kept us busy. Painted my first ever sonic face, wish I had caught the mirror moment on camera. A great day and a great May Carnival Tamerton. Until next year 🦄 Sophia 🦄
Thank you so much to everyone who patiently waited in line for a face paint, hair braid and/or glitter tattoos. Even with an extra artist after last years superb event we were non stop! I managed too get around a few of the stalls before the parade arrived and bought a jar of Black Dog Blossom honey. It tastes amazing on my banana & egg pancakes! I will definitely be buying more. An extra special thank you has to go out to Peter, Kelly and everyone involved in creating the Tamerton Foliot May Carnival. Having organised events I know how much work goes on behind the scene. You guys and gals are amazing! Last but definitely not least a massive round of applause for Kalie and Sophia who like me started at 7am and fished once all the other traders were off site without a single break. I told them to but they chose not to. You did yourselves and me proud ladies! Until next year keep smiling folks.
