Having been booked many months ago the day before my van breaksdown.  With immense thanks to my friend Andy I was able to arrange a lift to Chillington albeit on the back of his motorcycle.  This meant a late night sorting out a mini kit, checking then checking again I hadn't forgot anything.  The Chillington Show must go on!

The following day Google maps decided to take us through every single lane imaginable to get to Chillington. The drive home was much easier thanks to Miss Fiona and her directions.  Setting up in one of the multi-stall marquees it wasn't long before we got our first customers.  Two sisters who knew their own minds that wanted to be unicorns.  After much instruction the mirror came out and two very happy girls left.  This started what was a steady line of face painting everything from superheroes to a new one on me, Blaze!   Blaze is a vehicle cartoon as popular as the Teenage Mutant Nija Turtles were to us apparently?!

This is the first time in all the years I have been painting I had this sort of emergency so I am super chuffed the make shift mini kit was a success and that everyone was really happy with my work.  I received an amazing review from the organiser and they want me back next year so all in all smiles were created.  Job done :)

I didn't get the chance to take many pics but here's a few I did along with some sent to me thank you!  See you next year.
