Week 1: Welcome 'Freshers' Fest at Bournemouth and Poole College
As the college gates swung open, Cher Funky Punky embarked on her 5th year of spreading joy at Bournemouth and Poole College. The campus buzzed with excitement during the Welcome Fest, where adult face painting and festival glitter became the ultimate trend for the new and returning students. Cher loves this event because the teachers love to get involved to! 📚🎉
Saturday Soiree at Mount Edgecumbe
The weekend brought us to the stunning Mount Edgecumbe estate in Cornwall, where Cher and Tash Funky Punky joined the festivities for Miss Ivy Events' 12th Birthday. Among the historic beauty, our artists sprinkled magic with face painting and hair wrapping (braids). 🎂🌈
Private Birthday Bliss in Kingsteignton
Meanwhile, over in Kingsteignton, the lovely Josephine Funky Punky added an extra layer of joy to a private birthday party. Faces were transformed into canvases of happiness, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Sunday Serenity in Padstow
The weekend continued with Cher Funky Punky immersing herself in the charming fishing town of Padstow for a heartwarming 40th wedding anniversary celebration at Padstow Social Club. Kids and adults alike joined in the face-painting fun, with a special shoutout to the first-time request for a hippopotamus! Check out the photos below to witness the magic unfold. 🦛📸
Seafest and Celtic Designs
Weekend 3 was a double delight! Cher showcased her skills at Plymouth's Seafest at The Royal William Yard, celebrating the city's waterfront spanning from Sutton Harbour, The Barbican, The hoe, Royal William Yard and more! Simultaneously, Andrea Funky Punky wowed the crowd at The Gardens of Heligan with stunning Celtic designs in blue. Two events, endless smiles! ⚓💙
Freshers Fun and Battle of the Halls
Saturday evening brought us to the lively Plymouth University Student Union Bar for the first of three UPSU Freshers bookings. The UV glow party was a hit, with students queuing up from start to finish. Cher Funky Punky added her special touch, creating glowing masterpieces that lit up the night! 🎉💫
Sunday Cher returned to Seafest whilst Andrea Funky Punky was at a private birthday bash in Manadon, turning faces into wonderful unicorns with a sprinkling of super hero magic! 🎂🌟 Freshers' festivities continued Sunday evening with Cher Funky Punky at Plymouth University's Student Union Bar. for 'Battle of the Halls' where primary colors and glitter took center stage. Face paints and glitter galore! 🎉🌈
Padstow's Colourful Community Hub
Chers Funky Faces had a blast at the Padstow Town Council's Community Hub Opening! 🎉 Marie and Judy, the dynamic duo of Funky Punky magic, brought their artistic flair to the festivities.
Saturday Highlights: A Splash of Color at Smyths Toy Shop
Our Saturday kicked off with a burst of creativity at Smyths Toy Shop in Plymouth. Cher and Sophia Funky Punky joined forces with Face In A Crowd, for their countrywide Smyths Toys Shop Christmas Catalogue launch event. The requests poured in, with Stitch stealing the spotlight alongside the classic favorites like Spiderman and butterflies.
Diverse Adventures Across Plymouth and Beyond
While the dynamic duo were at Smyths, Hayley Funky Punky was casting her magical spell at a private birthday party in Peasedown St John, B.A.N.E.S. Glitter tattoo sparkles and fantastical faces brought an extra touch of magic to the celebration. Simultaneously, Kaylie Funky Punky was in Roborough Hall, Plymouth, adding a splash of color to a low pigment face painting party. Our artists are well-equipped with low pigment face paints, ensuring the fun never stops, even if you've got a bounce house booked. twice the fun for everyone!
Unexpected Sunday Freedom
With a whirlwind Saturday behind us, Sunday brought an unexpected gift – free time! It's not often we find ourselves with a day off, but when we do, we cherish every moment.
Coastal Path Event and Football Fun
The last weekend saw Cher return to The Royal William Yard for the King Charles III Coastal Path Event. Elisabeth, Kaylie, and Cher herself created smiles at private birthday parties in Modbury, Woolwell, and The Staddiscombe Inn, Plymouth. Special shoutout to the football team party – a unique, challenging and super fun celebration! ⚽🎂
