Tyne and I started setting up for the UPSU Summer Ball the SU Bar at 12:30 in the afternoon. Transforming it with the help of Alex Alphawave, Niah and some of the Plymouth University Event Team. In a few hours we had it turned into an amazing glitter bar area. Black & White chequered floor, lights, mirrors and sparkles everywhere. After a wonderful lunch at a Taste of Thailand in Plymouth Market we were ready for a very long evening creating guilt free sparkly smiles. Using biodegradable glitter, we did glitter beards, brows, hair, eyes you name it.
The atmosphere was lovely. Everyone looked stunning in their ball gowns, suits and boots. Even Tyne and I got dressed up for the occasion. I will admit the high heels came of around midnight. Such a fun night. Thank you once again to Michelle USPU event co-coordinator extraordinaire and all involved in creating such a wonderful event for the students and for using our services. If we don't see you before we'll catch up again at Fresher’s Fair.
