The beautiful fishing village of Padstow. Now a hub of Cornish tourism due to Rick Stein is where you'll find me nearly every school holiday. The Easter weather was typically changeable for this time of year. Some days like peak summer others freezing cold mid winter. This meant taking various items of clothing, umbrellas, waterproofs and shorts into work everyday. The wind was the most annoying but an experienced hair braider knows the tricks to ensure quality braids no matter what the weather!
This year I focused much more on the face painting where my passion truly lies. With a few designs on display this was a winner. It was awesome seeing the kids faces light up in the mirror looking at their designs. It seems it was a good idea to bring the paints and glitter to as it was definitely much quieter than usual for hair braid requests. That along with a few glitter tattoos and some quick instal hair feathers helped create the smiles on our customers throughout the Easter Break.
It was great taking long walks and cycle rides around the beautiful coastline, catching up with all my local friends and of course meeting up with my regular customers who visit year after year. Two of my favourite girls (you know who you are) are growing up so quickly now. Just like their hair, wow, 23 and 24 inches long! Rain, wind and shine Sunny, Tash and I had a fun Easter and look forward to another season of working together. Here's a few pics I managed to take or was tagged in.
Thank you to each and everyone who came and let me create smiles on you. Happy holidays :)
Love Cher xx
