Devcon's 2019 event at Plymouth Guildhall was superb.  On arrival I'd been given a great spot just at the top of the main stairsperfect for watching all the characters walking around in costume.  This was my firsr Devcon so I wasn't sure what to expect.  Would I get asked for some random comic character i'd never heard of, eeek!? Part of me was anticipating the challenge the other part dreading it.  I shouldn't have been nervous as the requests were for all the usual favourites,  Spiderman, Captain America, Hulk, Butterflies and Unicorns...

This years theme was Dr. Who with guest appenerance from actual Dr Who TV celebraties Terry Malloy aka Davros,  Silvester McCoy aka Dr Who, Sophie Aldred aka Ace and even K9 was in attendance.  There was a lovely atmosphere throughout the day with some amazing costumes.  You could tell some were bought in. However, my favourites were the handmade ones.  I like the artistic flair and effort thats gone into creating the full piece from clothing and make up to props.  Brilliant and well done to everyone who made the effort.  Someone even brought their own Harry Potter postal owl in.  You guys and gals are what make the event so interesting and fun!  I hope I get invited to paint at again next year.  Thank you to all who came by to join in with the painty fun and thank you to Lea for organising such a fab event.  Until next time heres a few pics I managed to get...
