Today Cher and I were booked to face paint by Calstock Refugee Outreach Group for Day 2 of refugee week.  We set up outside Calstock Village Hall with a beautiful view of the river and viaduct.  The kids (and some adults, were so excited to get their faces painted we had them already deciding what they wanted to be before we had even started to unload

Hope Festival, Plymouth returns after 2 years with a tremendous turn out.  What a day!  Bands, food, crafts, games, bouncy castles and more.  Plus Cher's Funky Faces face painting of course with most of it absolutely free as part of refugee week.  Sophia and I were busy face painting from the word go until close.

The atmosphere, the people, the happiness to be out and about again could be felt like a presence.  Yes, there were queues...everywhere but everyone just seemed to be enjoying that sense of together, of community.  Yes, Wimborne Minster Folk Festival what a fantastic anniversary.  Tash and I face painted, glittered and hair braided so many smiles.  Such a great weekend.

Torbay Council Jubilee celebrations was  manic from the moment I set up with customers patiently queuing for hours.   The events team were fantastic though always making sure I had plenty of water and snacks.  I can't thank them enough.  I think the whole of Torbay wanted a face paint and to get involved in the celebrations.  The day went super quick.  I will admit I really needed and enjoyed my bath that evening.  Phew!

The first of many Queens Platinum Jubilee Celebrations. If the rest of this week is going to be like today there's going to be a lot of smiles created. I only managed to take one photo of this gorgeous little tiger. The day was amazing day just like the venue. Being at Boconnoc House & Estate reminded me of school days and family picnics combined with sports days and great memories. The children were so spoilt with so many things to do. I still had a long line until the end of the day!

Tyne & Cher Funky Punky created 100's of guilt free smiles at the UPSU Summer Ball. There were festival style glitter faces, glitter beards, glitter stripes, glitter hair throughout the campus by the time they finished.

What an amazing day at Indies birthday party.  The weather made it extra special with the bright summer sunshine. Although their was only 11 kids it seemed like I was doing 30 with how enthusiastic they all were wanting face paints and lots of glitter tattoos.  I had a lovely time creating smiles for all the lovely guests.
