What a fantastic crowd. The organisers kindly squeezed my pitch in at short notice and what a great crew they are! Welcoming, happy and accomodating even under pressure. By midday the queue was manic with loads of festival goers wanting to add that extra sparkle with creative glitter art along with the face painting and a couple of braids just as I was closing. This festival has definitely gone from strength to strength and I would highly recommend it as a great day out for all the family from tots, teens to us adult kids. With a varied range of music from live acts to multi genre dance music there really was something for everyone. My only complaint is it didn't last long enough! When I'm busy I never get the opportunity to take many pics so if you see this blog and have any of your own pics of my faces and/or glitter art please send them across to email@example.com. Here's the few smiles I managed to capture.
About the author
I have been face painting and creating smiles with my hair braids, tattoos and body paints for 13 years after finally taking the jump and becoming self employed in 2006. Having a large network of friends I have been able to establish a network of quality face painters and glitter tattoo artists who have a passion for the job which shows in their work throughout the South & South West of England. Orginating from a customer service & sales background the best thing I ever did was become self employed. The money might not be as good but the job satisfaction seeing lots of happy smiles is the best. I hope to continue for many more years to come.
