January Daily Challenge
January is inevitably a quiet month for most creatives so this year I decided to join a daily challenge group on Facebook called Inspiration to paint. Each month they send you a calendar with themes and suggestions on what to paint that day. This is to help improve the skill set and get your imagination working. It has also been brilliant seeing what other artist come up with. I have been really enjoying it. I'll update the images throughout the month so do come back to see what I've painted. Oh my what a great couple of events! The Soapbox Theatre just inside Devonport Park, Plymouth provided two awesome UV disco parties for NYE, The Bubbelicious Family & Baby Raves. The first earlier in the day for the toddlers. Then with just enough time for a quick clean up, the second with slightly older children in attendance started.

X certainly did mark the spot this NYE at The Kings Arms in Tamerton Foliot. A glitter spectacular with EVERYONE getting involved. All the staff and customers were in really good spirits, having drunk enough of them I'm sure and the New Year was seen in style with a classic rendition of Auld Langs Ainge.

This was a new painty experience for both Sophia and me. Cher's Funky Faces were booked by Plymouth Boat Trips to create painty smiles for their Santa's Christmas Party. It was a very windy and rainy start. This meant we held on to what we could, painted reasonably well and soon found out if the legs that were stood wide for balance had been made for the sea?

Wow! Sparkles everywhere! I arrived at The Grazing Cow Cafe/Restauraunt in Offwell, Honiton to a party already in full swing. This party was something special having already discussed the added extra's with mum previously. Birthday girl got her very own unicorn horn, face paint and sparkles whilst the other girls were able to choose their own festive bling so they didn't feel left out.

Super festive fun at Marjon University for their Hidden Disabilities Awareness Event. Meeting up again with some of the students I glittered in the summer along with a load of new students and teachers alike I had a great time creating Christmassy smiles! The event was to help raise awareness for hidden disabilities. I have many friends with hidden disabilities so this was close to my heart.
