Family Day Fun on HMS Albion
How exciting! This was the first time I can actually remember being on board a Naval Ship. Although I was christened on HMS Arethusa (F38). There was three of us on the Funky Punky team today. Judy, Kaylie and I were placed in the Explosives area along with magicians Ozzy D and Harry Kazzam who were making some fantastic balloons.

Sparkles everywhere! What a brilliant night! We set up in the Main Hall Entrance which was great because everyone could see us as they came in to catch all the DJ's and artist playing. We were both busy from the moment we opened until the moment we put the closed sign up.

Hello and what a welcome back to the SU Bar after sooo long away. Absolutely wonderful to catch up with Michelle and all the crew. Another fantastic event! What a fun evening! I set up outside The Roundabout for a 5pm start. There were great bands all night and a superb atmosphere. I had an instant queue. Initially they were unsure as I had provided no word boards or displays.

What a superb weekend of face painting! It's been wonderful to be back face painting at events. This has been the largest since Covid and what a pleasure it's been. Two full days of Funky Punky Fun. I think I have created hundreds of smiles ranging from the ever popular Unicorns to more random requests. The Sea theme has been great fun.
